Called “one of the top jazz pianists in the world” by The Los Angeles Times, Kenny Barron is a 2010 NEA Jazz Master and 11-time GRAMMY nominee. He returns as one of this season's SFJAZZ Resident Artistic Directors, performing four different shows over four nights, including with his Quintet (Apr 10) with Christian McBride, Immanuel Wilkins, Johnathan Blake, and Mike Rodriguez, a solo piano concert (April 11), with his trio and large orchestra (April 12), and with a superb new Quartet (April 13) featuring Grégoire Maret, Elena Pinderhughes, and Noah Johnson.
