Digital Lab: Introduction to Ableton Live

Learn audio production with Ableton Live!

A three-week class featuring an overview of Ableton Live music production software and its powerful sonic capabilities. This class will explore basic music production, MIDI instruments, warping tracks, sampling and song arrangement in Ableton Live. This introductory class is geared towards new users of Ableton.
 
Instructor Jef Stott is a music producer, performer and DJ who has toured internationally, released dozens of album projects and remixes, scored music for film, TV and video games. He teaches Ableton Live, ProTools and audio production at Universities, arts institutions and in private master classes.

Members $225 / Public $270
Limited to 8 students. Students can use our in-house computers and are also welcome to bring their own laptops with Ableton 9 installed.
